I am a kid at heart. And I know I will not outgrow my love for animated movies. Recently, a movie added to my favorite list is “Sing”. Not just because it’s a fun movie or how the animals confidently show their singing talent using microphone like a bluebird mic; but also because of two valuable lessons I learned from the movie.
Note Worthy Phrases From the Movie “Sing”
“Don’t let fear stop you from doing what you love”
Often times, we know what our hearts’ desire. We know what we are passionate about. But one thing that blocking us to take that path is the fear of the unknown and the “what if’s”. So we usually settle to our comfort zone. But by doing this we won’t be able to show fully our potentials. Indeed we are wasting gifts that is within us that just waited to be unlocked.
But if we are brave enough to take the leap of faith, take the chances that what our hearts dictates then we are unleashing the power within us. We become more productive. And that gives us a true happiness and fulfillment in life.
“When good thing is hitting the rock bottom there is only one way left to go and that is UP”
Personally, when I am in my lowest point of my life, it is also the time for me think positively because I believe that next to it is a shower of goodness that will come on my way. As they said “life is like a roller coaster”, we all have “ups” and “downs” in our lives. But those experiences will give us lessons in life that will strengthen us as we move forward. So just enjoy the rolller coaster of our lives!
Plot Summary of the Movie Sing
Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.
